the third conditionnel of thé sentences i last my job because i was late for work. i ( loose) my job if i (be) late for work.​

    The third conditionnel of the sentences

    I lost my job because I was late for work.

    I would have lost my job if I had  been late for work.​.

    LES CONDITIONNELS EN ANGLAIS

    Zero Conditional : if + present ==> present

    If I am late, I loose my job.

    First Conditional : if + present ==> will + Base Verbale (= futur)

    If I'm late, I will loose my job

    Second Conditional : if + past simple ==> would + Base Verbale

    If I was late I would loose my job.

    Third Conditional : if + past perfect ==> would have + past participle

    If I had  been late, I would have lost my job.
